Goldcrest
Goldcrest (Goudhaan; Wintergoldhahnchen; Rottelet huppé; Regulus regulus)
Goldcrest are the smallest birdspecies in Europe: 8 - 9 cm length, very lively behavior and usually found in pine trees.
This one probably a winter migrant, pausing for a short food-break on the Scheveningen Zuiderhavenhoofd (south pier), checking the walls for anything edible.
